VelvetVibe is your space to share thoughts, moments, opinions, or vibes with the community.
Pins are short posts that stay visible for 48 hours and can be liked or commented on.
What is a Pin?
A Pin is a short text post you share with the community.
Every Pin you publish is visible for 48 hours, then it automatically disappears.
Pins can include text only
You can post as many Pins as you want — each Pin requires 1 Pin credit.
How to post a Pin
Tap Add Pin
Write your message
(Optional) Add a photo
Tap Create
If you have at least 1 Pin credit, the Pin will be posted immediately.
If you have 0 Pin credits, you will see a message:
“⚠️ You need 1 Pin to post.”
You can then tap Get Pins to purchase more..
Pin balance & Buying Pins
You can buy Pins in two places:
A) From the Add Pin screen
If your balance is 0, you'll see the warning:
⚠️ You need 1 Pin to post.
Tap Get Pins → Choose a package.
B) From your Profile → Pin Balance
Tap Get Pins to open the purchase options.
Available Pin Packages
3 Pins → 3 CHF
6 Pins → 5 CHF
10 Pins → 8 CHF
After purchase, your new Pin balance appears immediately.
Refunds
Velvet does not offer refunds on Pin purchases (same for Boosts & Ghost Mode).
Who can see my Pins?
Everyone can see your Pins depending on the VelvetVibe filter they selected.
Meaning:
If a user is browsing All Countries, they will see your Pin with your country flag.
If they filter by Switzerland, they will only see Pins from users currently set to Switzerland.
Your Pin appears according to their filter, not yours.
Even while in Ghost Mode, your Pins remain visible — only your profile visibility on Map, List and Explore is hidden.
Pin rules (Safety & Respect)
Allowed:
Personal thoughts
Daily moods
Fun, humor, positive vibes
Adult content if consensual and not illegal
Not allowed:
Minors in any sexual context
Violence / threats
Illegal activities
Hate speech / discrimination
Non-consensual sharing of private content
Nudity involving minors or abuse imagery (zero tolerance)
Violations may result in immediate account removal.
Interacting with Pins
Other users can:
Like your Pin
Comment on your Pin
Tap your profile to view your profile
Send you a Friend Request from your profile
You can also like & comment on others’ Pins.
Moderating your own Pin
As the creator of the Pin, you can moderate all interactions.
Deleting Comments
Long-press any comment → Delete
You can delete:
Your own comments
Comments from others under your Pin
This lets you keep your space safe.
Deleting Your Pin
Long-press the Pin → Delete
Your Pin disappears immediately for everyone.
If you don’t delete it manually, it disappears after 48 hours.
Can Pins be reported?
Currently:
Pins cannot be reported.
If a comment is inappropriate:
The creator can delete it immediately
Users can report the profile instead (from the user’s profile page)
